True Image 2011- how do I know nonstop backup is running

Thread needs solution

Hi,

I activated nonstop backup which ran for about 5 hours. It took 1.3TB of space from my backup drive, but I can't see any folders or files in there. The space just disappeared.

So, how do I use nonstop backup to recover a file? how can I browse over the files it copied over? couldn't find it in the home menu.

Also, how do I know it is still running? in previous versions there was an icon on the toolbar that told me it was active, but not anymore.

Thanks.

Jack,

NSB stores the backup in a hidden folder on the destination drive: Time Explorer Storage. The TIB files and index files in this folder shouldn't be tampered with at all.

You should see a task when you launch ATI 2011.

To restore, you need to launch ATI 2011 and click recover from that backup task, OR you can use the recovery CD. You cannot mount, validate or double-click on the NSB files.
