True Image 2013 and Netgear A6200 Wireless adapter
Have been using TI 2013 for quite some time with a wired 1GB connection with no issues. Recently moved and tried using the same over a wireless connection with my desktop. The built-in wireless adapter works just fine, however, it takes over 12 hours to do a full image backup of my system. System uses N band at about 100Mbps.
So, I opted to purchase a Netgear A6200 wireless adapter, that coupled with my Netgear R8000 router gives me approximately 500Mbps data transfer rate with an AC band connection. Calculated time for TI image backup is now just over 2 hours.
The problem is, I've not been able to get a full backup yet. At some point (they do vary) during the TI backup process, the wireless adapter disconnects and my backup session fails. I've changed power options for USB ports to be on always, etc. Are there any known issues as to why TI is disconnecting my A6200 USB wireless adapter in the middle of a backup?
I am backing up to a NAS drive that I've been using for this purpose, successfully, for a couple of years with TI and a wired connection.
Thanks,
David
