True Image 2013 Bootable doesn't deteck Broadcom network adapter.

Thread needs solution

Booting True Image Bootable CD on a Dell D630 with a Broadcom network adapter. The network adapter is not detected. The True Image 2010 bootable CD does detect the adapter. Articles in the Knowledge Base show this same problem in TI 2010 was fixed. Anyone know if this has already been reported and / or if there are any plans to fix it?

I don't know if any one has reported this problem, but there is no harm in letting Acronis know.

There is the same problem with Intel NICs at a Toshiba Satellite Pro Notebook.
It would be about high time for an upgrade of ATI 2013 released in august 2012.

I'm running in to same problem with older dell laptops D series. I have images made with previous versions and have always upgraded faithfully and now 2013 is screwing me up, by not loading the network (computers near me). I always have to go back to my 2012 recovery disk. Whats the point of upgrading if its not backwards compatible. I may want to go back to 2012 and ditch this 2013. Money back please if they are not going to fix.

I'm a little dissapointed as well. I store my backups on a network share and when my system failed I thought.. no problem.. grabbed my bootable media and BAM... no network. Now I'm stuck. I have a Dell Studio XPS with the Broadcom Netlink Gigabit network card and I'm stuck... Anyone have a fix yet?

Hello everyone!

Thanks for taking your time contacting us.

When it is possible, could you please create Acronis System Report and send it to me via private messages, as soon as possible we will inform you about any news regarding this issue.

Thanks again and we're very sorry for inconvenience!

Kind regards,

Sergey

When I try to run the report... I get an error 10093 and the windows says the report generated, but I don't ever get it. Decided to "run as administrator", still got the error, but the report generated.

Hi Sergey,

thanks for jumping in. You got PM. System Report is from a Toshiba Satellite Pro, the same problem exists with a Dell machine as well.

I have done a lot of investigation in Dezember for you because of this issue. After all it is frustrating being stuck with the same problems after a major update.

Matthias

P.S.: Thanks for having wiped out the statement of a frustrated user....
