true image 2013 first time receiving an error confussed on what it means

Thread needs solution

we bought a bunch of licenses from acronis, and one of our pc's (the work pc. keeps emailing us stating...
WorkPC Task is waiting for user interaction.
Description: Stage Description
Information: Failed to read data from the disk.
Details: Failed to read from sector '535,580,163' of hard disk '1'. Try to repeat the operation. If the error persists, check the disk using Check Disk Utility and create a backup of the disk.
Failed to read the snapshot. (0x10C45A)
CRC error (0x100155)

We have been receiving these emails since 8-14-2013/EVERYDAY

What does this mean?

how should one proceed?

Doesn't snapshot mean that the backup is actually bad on our server where the backups are stored? if so why do none of the other pc's email us letting us know those snapshots are bad?

any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Joe,

Have you tried running chkdsk /r on the disk? If this is an OS disk checkdisk will have to run on next reboot, if not it can run immediately. You need to start it from a command prompt box, the /r switch is important.

Thanks Colin, i didnt notice that. oops.

I have not done anything as of yet, i wasnt sure if the log is referring to the work PC 's hdd? or where the backups are being saved (on the server.)

I would run chkdsk on both.

well i ran chkdsk on work pc, it made me reboot, upon rebooting chkdsk ran, then started windows (not sure how to check the results) but upon waking this morning i received an email stating the work pc task completed successfully.

Any ideas what happened?
does this mean i need a new drive?
Thanks for your assistance

Not sure what the OS you are running where you ran the Check Disk, but the results are in the computer's event logs. Check here for directions for Windows 7. For other versions of Windows, it's practically the same.

Thanks... found it (we're running windows 7 64bit)
so basically from what im getting...the reason Acronis wasn't doing backups for weeks was because of unallocated space?
I'm not seeing anything alarming in the logs, anyone else?
Thanks all for your help.
