The version of ASRM in 2013 build 6514 seems to have issues with some mice and keyboards. The problem also exists in the Rescue Media.

I would suggest that you contact Acronis support for a working solution.

I use Acronis True Image 2013 in a pseudo DOS mode by booting with the program disk in the system drive. I do a complete image of all partitions at once on my hard drive. I perform this operation several times per week. I run windows 7 Ultimate using a Logitech M510 mouse. The mouse is completely dead when I have the Acronis program running in the DOS mode. I have to substitute a USB mouse for the Acronis program to work. Is there a program update that will allow my M510 to work with Acronis?

Try newly downloading the Rescue Media ISO from your Acronis.com account. The web site lists it as the same build number as previously, but is actually newer build 6528. It fixes the wireless keyboard/mouse issue and the GPT disk issue. The fixes are only in the new build of the Rescue Media, as no new Windows version has been released.

P.S. The bootable Rescue Media is Linux-based, not DOS.

Tuttle, I found an exe fie but no iso file. The name you used was Rescue Media ISO. I did a quick search on the website with no results. Can you point me in the right direction? Sorry to be a bother again, but some of us old types need all the help we can get. Thanks!

It's listed as "Bootable Media", in your Acronis.com account.
