True Image 2014 Restore Non System Disc Error
I performed a full backup on my machine before attempting to repair my Windows 7 system. Unfortunately I accidentally rebuilt, rather than upgraded the OS and I lost my programs. This disc was cloned in Sept 2014. I put the cloned disc into the machine and booted up. No problem. Then I ran a full Acronis restore to make the disc current. After the restore, I am now faced with a non system disk error at startup. I can use my Acronis recovery disc to access Acronis. I can also use the Windows disc to access and repair Windows. Windows doesn't report any problems. At the command prompt, I have successfully ran bootrec/fixmbr. However, when running bootrec/fixboot from the C: drive, the system can't find it. I can see the boot information on a system partition.
Thanks.
