True Image 2014: snapman.sys causing BSOD -- ANYBODY, PLEASE?

Thread needs solution

UPDATE: Would really appreciate help on this... otherwise, I'm completely unable to use ATI  Thank you!

I've been running ATIH 2014 (ver. 6673 en-US) successfully since Jan 2014.

Starting a couple of days ago (8/30/2014), as soon as I run a backup (whether scheduled or manual), I immediately get a BSOD followed by a PC reboot of my Dell Studio XPS 9100, Windows 7/64 (12GB memory).

Because I've been having some other problems -- until now not affecting the reliable operation of ATI 2014 -- and MVPs at the MS Answers forum have been providing support, this problem was found to be caused by snapman.sys (see 2 images).

Today, I saw that there is an update for ATI and I performed the update to ver. 6688, hoping that it will solve my problem. BUT, as soon as I tried running one of my existing backups, it triggered a BSOD.

I have yet to update ATI 2014 Universal Restore, which I will do next.

Questions:

1. Is snapman.sys required for either backups or scheduling of backups to take place?

2. Is this driver required by ATI 2014, or maybe a left over from a previous version?

If it can be removed, please provide instructions on how to have it fully removed, including from the registry.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you,

J
