2016 is the same as 2015 in that requirement. You need a backup of everything--all partitions which is an Entire PC Backup

I fresh installed win 81 and win 81 pro in the other PC... So No other volumes[NOT SYSTEM VOL] than c:/ 512GB and D:/ 512GB for extra files... FOR THIS REASON SYSTEM VOL is in the excluded?

can i backup only c:/ and os/apps/programs CAN RESTORED ON FAILURE in my case?

BTW ALL BACKUPS done by default INCLUDE SYSTEM FILES TO RECOVER OS? what about my case? can i do backup without system files?
note: I want with to recover OS in case failure.

well?

To safely restore your computer, you need to backup all the partitions on the system disk. To see which partitions are where, you can use the Windows disk management. If your PC has only one disk (like many laptops for example), simply backup "Entire PC". If your PC has a couple of disks, just select all the partitions on the system disk, including the hidden partitions that Window sdisk management will show you

ok, but what files Not included by default?

Also in a boot-able backup in addition to above can boot from usb 3.0 ext hdd?

in short
backups recover every thing by default? are they boot-able by default?

Again, if you do an "entire PC" backup all the files necessary to restore on a blank disk will be there. All system files, apps, settings, etc. Everything.
The resulting TIB file contains all the information but the file itself is not bootable. You have to boot on the Acronis recovery CD/USB flash drive to launch True Image from there, then restore the image on the disk.

If I were you, I would not exclude any file. Certain files are excluded per Microsoft Shadow Copies settings. For example, Outlook OST files are excluded. If you want to include really everything, do the backups from the Acronis Recovery Cd/USB. That takes Windows out of the operation. YOu can also edit the Window registry to remove the standard exclusions. But it shouldn't be necessary.

You can add exclusions by adding them to the exclusion list in the backup task, using ACronis true image interface (see the help file).

Try the software. You can even buy and use the 30-day money back guarantee.

When i make a backup to include only C:/ win81pro or w10pro(when come)... with True Image 2016 after If want restore in a disk C:/ where the OS has problem, but still Not empty, Will be restored all files or only needed file like deleted, failed, or corrupted files?

In case the latter case any files on C:/,... but not in the backup tib file,... should be deleted?

answer above and this:

Rescue media builder creates recovery Acronis media CDR/CDRW for the PC created with, or these CDs can boot & recover (from their backup) other PCs?

same with Universal Restore Media DVDs are suitable for any PC even created in my PC?

You can restore a couple of files specifically when you have an "entire PC", but you have to select the files, folders manually, so it doesn't scale easily. Often, it is simpler to restore the entire disk image and be done with it. When you do that, all the data existing prior to the restore operation will be lost, and the disk will be back to the state it was at the backup time. If you have more recent files you dont want to lose, you will have to back them up first. For that reason, many users prefer to have their user content on a separate partition from the OS & App & Settings files. Disk images are only really necessary for OS & apps information, when you think about it. Simply file copies or sync with versioning are good enough for user files. In addition, it doesn't really make sense to put a lot of videos, images, music files in a proprietary archive files like the TIB files, because these content types are already compressed, and, if the TIB is corrupt, you lose the entire content of the backup. Better to backup these files individually with sync software like Goodsync, SyncBack SE, of Windows file history!

Yes, the rescue media builder produces a recovery medium that can used on any computer (provided the hardware of the computer is supported). Same with the universal restore part of it.

During backup process choose if it should be sector-to-sector backup during process?
Default is NOT sector-to-sector?
