True Image 9 cannot be installed on Windows 7 Home Premium
Hi, installation starts but after some seconds it stops. I tried it several times but always with the same result. There is no information why. I haven't upgraded to v10 because it is in English. What can I do to install successfully? carolus

2009 True Image installs just fine on my Windows 7 64Bit computer (at least the version I have does: v12.0.0.9079). Everything about the TI 2009 Home product works as expected for me. I've tested it quite a bit.
I removed & reinstalled it a few times trying to get True Image 2010 installed correctly & counted on TI 2009 to get me back to a know working state.

Hello all,
Seekforever, thanks for your help, you're absolutely correct.
Karlheinz, let me shed some light on the issue. I regret to inform you that Acronis True Image 9.0 Home doesn't support Windows 7.
I may recommend you to upgrade to Acronis True Image Home 2010. You can purchase the upgrade with 40% off in our online store. I may recommend you to download the trial version before purchasing the full one in order to see how the software will work on your computer. The trial version is fully functional within Windows for 15 days.
You can find more information about our software compatibility with Windows 7 at this KB article.
Please reply to this thread if you have any additional questions.
Thank you.

Care to comment? as I was going to try to get a copy of TI 2009 rather than have problems with 2010 on my W7 x64 machine
