True Image 9.0 hung at 95% progress ... now what?

I was using Acronis True Image 9.0 to clone my SONY Vaio laptop (292 MB disk) to an IOMEGA 500 GB (eGO) drive. When the 2 progress bars both reached 95% the program stopped incrementing the progress. Please suggest the right strategy to deal with this. I am using Windows XP. Should I turn my PC power off? And if so, what then?

I will appreciate any suggestions because in the meantime my machine is hung and needs to be backed up.
