True image boot disk does not recognize network adapter on new computer

Thread needs solution

Booted from 2014 premium build 6673 (and earlier versions) and the network adapter (and workgroup) is not visible for backup.

Machine is Win 7 64 bit with new UEFI bios and phy intel 1218V network adapter (ASRock H97M pro MB). So I cannot back up across the network. Any other (older) network computer (W7 64, 32, XP) does see the network using boot disk.
Have read if True Image is installed on the computer a bart boot disk can be loaded, but I want to backup across the network using Acronis boot media. Since this is the latest build and the network adapter does not appear to be recognized, is there a solution?
Thx

I am not 100% sure here but I can tell you this. Acronis boot media uses a linux base in which to run. Linux builds have been agonizing slow in supporting the 1218V network adapter with only very recent support in some versions. This fact is in all likelihood your issue. In that light a BartPE or WinPE or MustangPE boot disk containing drivers for the NIC and the add on ATIH app are your only option.
