True Image HD From Crucial

Thread needs solution

Not sure if correct area of forum, but here goes.
I am trying to image my drive to a 2TB external USB drive that is partitioned
into 4 drives. I cannot select a specific partition. It deletes the partitions back to
a single 2TB drive.
Am I doing something wrong? This disc came with the 1TB M500 SSD and kit that
I purchased from Crucial.
If this particular version of ATI won't/can't do this, which version do I need to buy
that will allow me to image the drive to a partitioned external USB drive.
I just don't want to waste a huge amount of space for the image.
My ultimate goal is to image the drive on my desktop and laptop before I allow
Windows 10 to install.
Thanks so much for you patience and understanding, and for any information
you might be able to offer! ! !

I just usually backup to an external hard drive which is all one partition. As a test I partitioned it to create a "backups" portion. I was able to backup to either partition without any trouble and think I found the answer to your problem. There are two modes to choose from: Disk Mode and Partition Mode. You probably were in Disk Mode which can only "see" the entire drive. Switch to Partition Mode and give it a try. Let us know how you make out!
