True Image Home 10 incompatible with Win 7 Professional 32 bit?

Thread needs solution

I installed Home 10 typical on a Win 7 machine. It was an Home 10 upgrade media.
No errors during installation.
When I try to start the program, I get "This program is blocked due to compatibility issues." Acronis True Image is incompatible with this version of Windows."
The Windows version is Windows 7 Professional edition 32 bit.
The Event Viewer has a critical error "Log Name: Application

Yes, version 10 is on the blocked list in Windows 7. You can get around the blocking issue by changing the name of the program. The details are here: http://forum.acronis.com/forum/5908

I ran version 10 on Windows 7 for a couple of years this way without issue. Acronis won't support this, however. They will want you to use TI 2010 or newer, which are Windows 7 compatible.
