True Image Home 11 - Corrupts Full Backups when computer crashes

Thread needs solution

If you are doing full backups with True Image Home 11 and overwriting the prior full backup, a computer crash during the backup process will corrupt the prior backup.

Has Acronis fixed this on later versions to maybe have a different name or location for the new backup until it is validated, and only then replace the old backup? Or by changing small parts of the old backup to update it with new data but if the computer crashes, still allowing the archive to be readable ?

If you are talking about v11, then yes, this has changed in more recent versions. ATI will first complete the new full backup before deleting the old one and then rename the working copy definitely. Understand that this increases the space requirements.
