True Image Home 2010 shows the worng size for my SSD

Thread needs solution

I am trying to back up a new Sony Vaio P with True Image Home 2010, but it shows the size of my 64GB SSD incorrectly as 465GB. Can anyone help me configure TIH2010 to recognize my SSD correctly?

Hello John,

Ok, let's sort the issue out.

I have checked our databases and haven't found any similar issue there.

To solve the issue, install a special driver update with fixes on the machine:

If this does not help, please let us investigate the issue and do the following:

1. Collect Acronis information file from your PC:

- Download the file;
- Run the downloaded file
The gathered information will be put in adv_report.zip in the same folder, where the AcronisInfo was saved.
Running AcronisInfo may take up to 5 minutes.

2. Collect the screenshot of Disk Management (Start->Run->diskmgmt.msc), and screenshot of the screen where the drive is displayed incorrectly.

- Get to the window which you want to make a screen shot of;
- Hit the (Alt+)PrintScreen button on your keyboard;
- Run Paint usually available in Start\Programs\Accessories or another graphics application;
- Choose Paste command in Edit menu;
- Save the result picture in JPEG format being preferable.

Then submit a request for technical support. Attach all the collected files and information to your request along with the step-by-step description of the actions taken before the issue appears and the link to this thread. Then please provide me with the case number you receive from our system, so I can pick it up and speed up the process. We will do our best to investigate the problem and provide you with a solution.

Additionally to this, you are welcome to ask me any other questions concerning Acronis, and I will assist you further.

Best regards,
