I have TI HOME 12 running on WIN7 Pro 64 bit. I have 8 large thumb drives (128 GB drive with about 90 GB used). I would like to back up the thumb drives to a external hard drive, each thumb drive to a "file" on the external hard drive. Then selectively restore individual files to a new thumb drive, creating a new thumb drive with a mix of files from the 8 "original " thumb drives (leaving the 8 original drives in an archived condition on the hard drive)

I have been told that since the thumb drive has "files" only, no boot record, there is a special Acronis back and restore procedure. I have looked through the TI 2012 user manual, but I do not see any specific instructions for thumb drive file back up and restore.

Would appreciate any specific instructions or references to pages or sections in the user manual.
