True Image Home 2013 message: "This is not the last volume of the backup archive."

Thread needs solution

Hello all,
First, my apologies if this topic has been covered previously.
I am running a Lenovo T410S with Windows 7 64bit. The backup drive is in the extra drive bay. The drive is not used for any other purpose. Yesterday I experienced a complete failure of my C drive. I installed a new drive, booted to the Acronis recovery CD and attempted to recover from my full backup.
However, I get the message noted above. I only have the one backup file on the drive. Not sure how to proceed. I would be grateful for any assistance.

Welcome,
This error message indicates a differential or incremental back up scheme that would contain more than one back up image. Meaning an initial full with subsequent inc or diffs. When you performed the initial back up, was this performed in windows or from boot media? If windows, did you perform a disk mode back up? If boot media, did you select all of the check boxes under the disk 1 heading? We understand if you don't recall... I'm asking a lot of questions.

Now, after booting for the boot CD, and clicking Recovery (left pane) what do you see in the right hand pane of the GUI, if nothing and you select browse (selecting your disk 2 in the second bay)... what is present there? What file(s) are you seeing for available recovery options. .... Back up name, Back up #, Slice #... File naming conventions were changed in this version.

Look at my signature link #3 below. Inside that link, look at item #2 "Restoring a disk image backup."
Hopefully, your backup was a full and complete "disk image" backup which included all partitons including any non-lettered or hidden partitons.

As MVP ShadowSports indicated, hopefully this message can be solved by your browsing to the backup storage disk folder.
My guide illustrates how to do this.
