True Image Home 2013 Will not complete backups

The product we are using is acronis true image home 2013, we are doing an ftp backup from there to our location which is quite some distance , however , when we run the backup is starts then it gets about half way done and it sais locking partition 2-0 ... process was terminated. Error Occurred while writing the file. so i checked our FTP location and the file that was there , literally was gone :/ i am not sure whats going on. i have used acronis 11.5 advanced server edition and workstation edition for as long as i can remember so this is a bit new to me. any suggestions?
