True Image Home causing system crash during Backup.

I am in the process of setting up a machine. It has very little on board at present, XP-SP3, Office2K, AVG Free, ZoneAlarm and a few utilities. When I try to make a backup, either The machine will hang after writing about 1.2GB then needs a manual reset or the system will reset itself at the same point. This happens if I use a USB drive or C drive. I can copy large files in either direction without any problem and this version runs happily on another machine with identical hardware and full software payload. Apart from this True Image problem, the machine seems to run Office & IE OK.

I am using V11.8053.

Any suggestioins or hints greatfully received.
