True Image Home with wrong icon in start menu
Hello,
I have the following problem wit True Image Home 2010 :
I have pinned it to the start-menu in Windows 7.
Now it is there, but with the wrong icon : it shows with an ugly generic icon instead of it's own beautiful icon.
How can I solve this please?
Thanks

If that doesn't work, there is something else you can try. I had a similar problem with another application and it didn't work trying to change the properties.
Right click on the True Image shortcut on the start menu and click on delete. Then go to the C:\Program files\Acronis\TrueImageHome folder and right click on TrueImage.exe. Select Create Shortcut. Then right click on the new shortcut and select Pin to Start Menu. Done.

The problem is that the "TrueImageLauncer.exe" does not have an icon either Colin.

Hi Norman, thanks for your answer.
That is indeed a workaround.
I can hardly call it a solution though.
There is something wrong with the Acronis icons.
I had the same problem with the icon of "True Image Home 10" under Windows Vista and under Windows 7.
I hoped in vain that this annoyance would have been solved in "True Image Home 2010".
We pay Acronis for their program and I expect them to offer a solution to this problem that has been hanging around now for too long.

I had the same problem which is just sloppy on the part of Acronis. Right click the icon and go to "properties. Click on change icons and then browse to
windows\system32\imageres.dll
Pick one of the windows icons and you'll forget about the acronis icon after a while.
