True Image made SSD unable to install windows

Thread needs solution

I am in the process of changing out some hardware on my system, and didn't want to use an old image, but do a fresh install of windows 7 on the new hardware.  I formatted the old SSD card that held my old operating system that used True Image 2015, but now I am unable to install Windows on the SSD.  Any suggestions?  Maybe I need to use a True Image boot disk, but I don't want to use the old image, as I don't want to risk having problems due to the different drivers on the new hardwars.

Hi Patrick,

can you please provide more information on the problems you've faced while starting Windows installation in the formatted drive? Why do you think that the difficulties are caused by Acronis True Image? Do you get any error messages?

Thank you,

Since I posted this question, I have made several attempts to reuse that SSD without success.  I have since moved on and used a different drive.  I will be attemping to use it again next week, and will post back the message.  I am sorry, but I forget what the error was.
