True Image Plus Pak for True Image 2010

Thread needs solution

I recieved an offer to purchase your "Acronis True Image Home 2010 Plus Pack".

You claim that it will "Restore a computer to dissimilar hardware regardless of make, model, or installed components".

Does this mean that if I have a computer failure and purchase a new computer that I can restore a clone of my old Windows 7 or Windows XP operating system to the new computer and the operating system will work without the need to enter the product key and then authenticate it?

If this update would do this it would be much more useful in case of computer failure.

Thank you

I'm not sure about the authenticate part, but yes, the Plus Pack has the Universal Restore feature that was available for the Corporate version for many years and is now available for the Home version. But be aware that such a restore to a new computer will wipe out whatever OS is on the new computer and replace it with whatever OS is in the Backup. You also need to have the drivers for the new computer available during the restore process.
