True Image Universal Restore not working

Putting aside confusion about creating the restore as the documentation doesn't seem to match reality, at least on my system.

I have TI 2015 (build 6525) and created a Universal boot media. I opted for Windows 7 x64.

After booting from the CD and after Windows has started it fails with numerous services not started errors. After this it doesn't work any more and you have to reboot.

I managed to create a restore CD ok and although I can't do a restore from it, it does at least load ok.

Can anyone think of any reasons why this may not work. Should I be using Linux?
