True Image on Vista Home Premium - folder duplication

Thread needs solution

Using True Image Home 2009 on Vista Home Premium.
When I schedule a backup, it runs normally but after it finishes, it creates a folder in the public area on the c drive call (computer name)_F (the external drive it's backing up to). Please shed some light on what it's doing because this program is useless unless I find out what to do....because it is filling the c drive with backups and runs out of space.

Edit your backup task and check carefully the screen labeled "Browse for location"". This screen is where the backup location is controlled by the user. Select the drive and folder where you want the backup directed. The external drive must be attached and functional during the editing or creating of a backup task involving that particular  external drive. If you edit the task without the external attached, TI will change the location where the backups are stored. This may explain why your location was changed.

You can move the files from the C drive to the external drive before editing the task if you want to keep the files that have already been created.

Thanks for the reply but maybe you misunderstood my first post - it is a duplicate not a misdirected storage place.  I can open up the c drive area and watch the folder being created as soon as the backup finishes, it's like it's making a mirrored image of the f drive (external drive) and calls it 'computername'_f.
