True Image WD version: Lists HDs as RAID even though I've never set RAID up

Hi all.

I just bought a 1TB WD internal drive and want to clone my current 500GB main drive to it.

When I run the wizard, it errors out with "cannot read data".

Thing I noticed was that when setting up the wizard, it lists all my existing drives as RAID. I've never set them up as a RAID and double checked that the RAID option is OFF in the BIOS.

I suspect the error may be due to Acronis recognizing the drives as RAID.

Any ideas?

Is AHCI switched on? this could be your issue if you created your recovery in Standard disk read mode. AHCI allows for independent queing rather than the roll on task set by standard IDE access.
