True Image will not install not enough space

Thread needs solution

I have an old ide hd that has 600m free space on it. I installed a second drive with 300g space. I partitioned the new hd, and downloaded True Image to drive E:. When I changed the location of
the install from C:\Program Files\Acronis to E:\Acronis the program
would not complete the install. Program would not validate, and the
window came up and said not enough disc space. Does C: have to
have the 1.5g of space for the install, and why? Is this a windows
system requirement? I have XP pro.

Acronis True Image requires only 223mb. But that wouldn't explain why the C:\ space is declared too small.

If you have a full license, you could ATI to move your system from the small disk to the new bigger one. Or you could use ATI only from the recovery CD.
