I have the old True Image 8 which I have upgraded to 11 and have the licence number for on my old XP computer, which is now windows 7 I tried to install the old 8 version first then would install the 11 version next, thinking this was the right way to go about it.

Problem was computer did not install software in fact it crashed and had do a repair which gladly work out ok. How can I get my True Image 11 onto my windows 7 computer, hopefully I dont need to but another upgrade as I was very happy with Image 11.

No I have not as I have notes from somewhere that I had to install 8 first.
Any way I will give it a try tomorrow and see what happens
