TrueImage 2009 Moves Outlook.pst file when creating image

Thread needs solution

Hope someone can help me with a weird problem.

I have recently installed TI2009 onto a pc running XP SP3. I set it up to create an image once a week, and each time it does this, the outlook.pst file is moved by TI from the C drive onto the external networked drive I am using for the backups. Yes - it does move it ! Each time I have to go into the backup and restore it back - which is driving me mad.
The path is C:doc&settings/user/localsettings/applicationdata/microsoft/outlook/outlook.pst

Can anyone shed any light on this?
Thanks

Hello Rockarch,

I'm sorry for the delayed response.

I will do my best to assist you with this situation. Generally, we haven't heard about any similar issue with 2009 and 2010 versions of the product, that's why it's really important for us to investigate it and determine the cause.

As far as I understand, you're creating some backup  and right after its completion your .pst file is moved to external drive, is that correct? Does it really move the file itself or just delete it? Have you seen the file in the directory of your external drive (if yes, which directory it was?), or the only one way is to recover this file from backup?

Which backup are you trying to perform, is it a partition or separate data backup?

Could you please let me know the build number of the product, which you can find in the Help -> About dialog (it should be a 3 or 4 digit number)?

Could you please provide me with the exact sequence of actions that lead to the issue you report, so that I can try to reproduce it?

I'd like to make sure all your queries regarding Acronis products are resolved.
Additionally to this, you are welcome to ask me any other questions concerning Acronis, and I will assist you further.
