TrueImage 2010 build 5055 on Windows 7 Pro 64 lets PC go to sleep during a manual backup
I just verified that TrueImage 2010, build 5055, on Windows 7 Pro 64 bit, has a problem. The computer goes to sleep during the middle of a manual backup while in Windows 7. I had the sleep timeout set at 30 minutes.
Is this a bug in TrueImage, or in Windows 7? You'd think that the disk device driver and kernel would communicate to avoid putting the machine to sleep while a process is actively hammering on the hard disk!

I have the same problem while doing a disk clone using True Image Home 2010 build 6053 (the current version). The system goes to sleep and I have to press a key to wake it up and let it continue cloning. The OS is Windows 7 (64 bit).
Q. 1. Can I prevent the system going to sleep while cloning without having to change the system power management settings?
Q. 2. After cloning and rebooting, I see the message: True Image completed successfully (or words to that effect). Can I be sure that the interruptions every time it went to sleep did not corrupt the cloned image?

I am not running a Scheduled Clone but a Manual one. I have the same exact problems and response as Kerr. I experienced it running a Clone last night, 1/16/2011. PC isa Dell Insprion 1545 running Win 7 64bit Home Premium with all latest MS updates applied.
I am running ATI 2010 build 6053.
Is the problem fixed in build 7154 so that ATI Clone does not release control to power saving until it is complete?
