TrueImage 2013 Image Encryption Concern
Earlier this year I made an image of my laptop, setting a password and using encryption. Today I made an incremental backup based on the original image, but was not asked for my password to proceed. When I try to mount this new image, I am asked for a password.
The obvious question here is how could TrueImage create a further incremental backup without first asking me for the password (which should be being used to protect the encryption key)? This leads me to believe that my password or the encryption key is stored in the backup in such a way that it can be recovered wihtout my original password (eg by TrueImage, perhaps with it's own key which every copy must have). I hope I'm missing something here because at the moment I have very little faith in the security of encryption option in TrueImage.
A response from the TrueImage devs would be welcome.

That doesn't make a great deal of sense to me, that would seem to indicate that the incremental backup part isn't encrypted. Also, how did TrueImage know what was in the initial backup without my password?
A response from a TrueImage developer would be useful. I'm a software developer myself, so I'll likely understand a technical answer. At the moment, the behaviour in my initial post doesn't make a great deal of sense to me if encryption methods are being used correctly. I'd rather not have the illusion of security when it comes to my data.
