TrueImage 2014 creates unregistered TrueImage 2013 recue media making backups impossible
I try to do a system backup from a company laptop that I cannot install TrueImage on due to admin rights restrictions. Therefore I tried to do the backup from a rescue medium. This fails as the functionality is not available as the rescue media is a 2013 unregistered test version despite that I crate it from my TI 2014 licensed Premium version. Why is that?

I have a similar problem. I have contacted the chat support with nothing to show for it but 3 hours of wasted time. I had Acronis 2013 with Plus pack on my previous machine, it created a useful bootable media which i would be using now if it hadn't become corrupted over time. I replaced the dead computer with a laptop and unregistered the old machine. I installed a copy of 2013 with plus pack yesterday on my new machine, I registered and validated it online. I installed WAIK. I rebooted my machine and then double checked to see everything is as it should be. I then attempted to create bootable media which successfully produced an ISO. I burned that to my usb disk to test. It boots but is unusable because it believes its an "Unregistered Trial version" as is written in the about tab.
I then upgraded to Acronis 2014 premium in an attempt to resolve the problem. I upgraded over the Acronis 2013 with plus pack. It was then fully registered and verified online with a popup that said something to the effect of "All functions of the software are now unlocked" I then rebooted the laptop and tried to create a registered full version of the bootable media. The iso was created and upon booting i found that the new Acronis true image 2014 was also Unregistered Trial version. By this point i have wasted significant time and effort. I downloaded the ISOLINUX version from the registered products page. Burned it booted it and nothing changed it's still an UNREGISTERED trial version. Nowhere in any downloads or on my installer files or installed programs does the word TRIAL appear. I spent the next 3 hours on the chat box with the overseas technician. By the time that tech understood my problem IF the tech ever figured it out. They produced a link to a ISO with the title AcronisTrueImage2014p_6673_en_us which appeared to be the proper iso based on the P which stands for Premium. After hours of downloading I burned this and it also claimed to be an Unregistered Trial version.
I then Uninstalled all my acronis products and rebooted the computer, I downloaded all of my products from the links in my products page, then installed only the Acronis2014premium product entering the full upgrade serial and the previous version serial as required to re-install. I now have a clean install and fully activated registered copy of only acronis true image 2014 premium. I rebuilt the bootable media and to no avail. It is still an Unregistered Trial version when i boot it up.
I'm at the end of my rope here.

3simplex,
On my machine which has 2014-6673 premium installed (the about sections lists premium),
I have just used the installed "Create bootable media builder" and creted an iso file on my own machine. Then I burnt the iso to CD and the CD produced was a premium lablelled version.
Try totally clearing your temp files and try again using the above and see if that helps.
Instead of creating the iso, you could also do a direct burn within the "create bootable medial builder".

Its somewhat unbelievable but the way you make a boot-able USB with an Acronis iso will result in a functioning trial edition if its not done perfectly. That was where my problem was. I changed the boot-able usb slightly and the same iso boots as a functioning full version now, booting from usb with grub. I original used Syslinux which would also boot Acronis all be it was strange that there was an option for 32bit or 64bit and that simple difference made it an "unregistered trial version".
That solved my problem. I was over thinking things I suppose.
