TrueImage Home 2010 Recovery

Thread needs solution

Hi,

how can you recover from a 'Non-Stop' backup when using the boot cd ?

The Full version when in windows allows recovery of whole partition from non-stop backups but boot Cd doesn't.

This makes non-stop useless if your system partition becomes corrupt which is teh most likely one to be corrupt.

thanks

Rob

Good point, I hadn't thought of that!

I think NSB was designed to be used in parallel with complete disk image backups to external drives. At the moment if there are no complete disk images on another drive, then it would be the laborious task of installing the OS, installing TI, then recovering the partition contents.

I'm not sure if the NSB includes the MBR in it's archive.

Wow this sounds like NSB's value is pretty much nill. What value is it if you can't recover from it?
