TrueImage10 takes to long - 10 days - for 1 TB full Backup
Hello,
I'm using TrueImage 10 on a Windows 7 64-bit with Quardcore.
Now I booted from a clone HD to Fullbackup my 1 TB System HD with all options on: normal priority, high compression, Full Backup with sector-to-sector, ignore disks sector errors and verify on. Some of the sectors of the orginal HD are damaged about 100 or so. Destination is a 2 TB USB 2.0 drive. After 8 Hours of Backup TrueImage have only 2% backuped and is telling me that is will take 10 days!
I used the Windows-Taskmanager and the Resource moitor to check the activity. Long times TrueImages does nothing, sometimes the CPU-Load is at 20 percent and the disc transfer rate is only at 5-10 MB/sec.
Theoritically my backup of 1 TB should need only 20-25 hours cause of the limitations of USB at 25-30 MB/sec.
A few days ago I made a backup with full USB-load (or speed). I used the some PC, but booted from my system disc instead of the cloned one and have done a FullBackup of this system disc to an USB 2.0 drive with axcatly the some options as mentioned above. It has taken 10-20 hours, i don't exactly remember me, so the USB drive was full busy with 25-30 MB/sec.
I tried some other settings for my new backup, also I killed all programms and tools on my running pc which were possible. But no results. Some problem as before.
Has somebody any hints or guesses? What is wrong?
Please excuse my not so good English, I am German.

That is not the point. I mentioned that I have undertaken an few days earlier a fullbackup that worked in 10-20 hours, not in 10 days! That backup was also with defect sectors and sector-to-sector.
I could live with 10-20 hours, but not with 10 days. Version is True Image Home Plus 2010.

Wenn CHKDSK die fehlerhaften Sektoren gekennzeichnet hat wird Acronis wie früher fehlerfrei in kürzerer Zeit (Bei mir wenigstens) ein wahrscheinlich wiederherstellbares Image erstellen.

Have a similar problem - 1 1/2 days estimated for an 80 GB backup (did not wait around to see if it completed).
