Trueimagemonitor.exe has stopped working - after installing Norton 360 without toolbar

After updating to the current version of Norton 360 the following message was displayed in a
popup window:

| Trueimagemonitor.exe has stopped working.
| A program caused the program to stop working correctly
| Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.

The only way out of this condition was to click on the [Close] button. No solution was presented
by the system. I spent time going thru the forums etc, no luck.
W7 64-bit Lenovo. I think my ATI is build vers 8220
