Trumage 2010 recovery issues in Windows 7 64 bit

Thread needs solution

I have been using TruImage for many years and have just come acroos an annoying problem that must be a conflict with some other software ( ?)
I had installed Diskeeper 2010, some months ago with no problem and then used it in isolation and suddenly came up with a forced reboot request on a partition recovery situation
On reboot the TrUImage program kicked in spewing reams of rubbish dialogue and the program did not load
No change to the recovery was effected
I have now reinstalled my system with no Diskeeper loaded and still the same problem
The program a) installs correctly b) backs up correctly
I have used 2 versions from Oct 2009 and April 2010
Any advice ?

Roger,

Are you saying that running DiskKeeper 2010 caused your system to reboot and then TI 2010 failed to work? I'm unsure what you mean in that sentence.

Could you be more exact about what 'rubbish' TI displayed? I'm assuming this is TI in Windows that we are talking about.

Do you have tasks scheduled in TI?
Do you have a SZ setup and or ASRM activated?

If you could post some images of the proble if possible that would be helpful, as I'm still not quite certain what it is you're seeing if the program and Windows are booting and running correctly.

Sorry
.....
I had rushed the initial information.........
Im running a dual boot with XP & Windows 7 64 bit since last
Septemberand previous system dual boots for 4 years.
I am using versions 6053 then recently 7046 of TruImage 2010
and all previous versions prior to 2005
I had been using weekly backups for years with no problem until this
week.
All installations / backups and restores working correctly.

As of the last few days ,the restore location for the backup already taken is recognised , ( one hard drive - 2 partitions (XP/7) ) the 2 partitions are locked and at the " proceed" point" of restoring, " reboot required" appears against the booting partition mentioning that the recovery will be cancelled if a reboot does not take place.
This happens if 7(primary partition ) or XP or both are selected to be recovered.
The reboot goes into the" dos" phase as far as the Trumage screen logo and then a full screen of data analysis of no meaning appears.
At first I thought that the new version of Diskeeper 2010 with its intelligent ongoing defrag was working in conflict.

1) Truimage inc version 6053 worked without any problem until a few days ago and no reconfiguration has taken place , I also tried version 7046 with same restore issue.
2) I have reinstalled both XP SP3 ( bare installation) and Windows 7 today and re installed T. I. 2010 on both partitions with the same result.
On reinstall today, no auto defrag process is used at all
I am a system builder and have been installing/ testing software continuously for 15 years !
