Try & Decide Hangs--cannot recover

Thread needs solution

TrueImage 2010 latest build on Win7 x64. Used Try & Decide many times w/o problems. Today it hung at 91% commit after minor changes.

I have backup in the asz, but I cannot access it because I only have a TrueImage 2009 boot cd and it doesn't see the 2010 asz.

How can I boot a 2010 recovery process and get my restore completed? Will it restore MBR so I don't get the commit hanging up at boot time?

thx

Had to reinstall Windows and reinstall TrueImage and recover that way. Nice waste of time.
I'll never trust try & decide again!

T & D, imho, is like an accident waiting to happen. At least you have now recovered.
BTW, there are far safer and simple ways to do what T & D does. Make an Image before you Try. Restore the Image after you Decide you do not want what you tried. This will also give you confidence that your Images will be restored correctly. Or do it on a spare hard drive.
