Try & Decide not starting

I have just installed True Image 2014 and cannot get Try & Decide to function.

I get the following error "cannot start try&decide because partitioning scheme of the system partition is gpt"
The partition is definately MBR, any clues on how to overcome this problem.

I have the same problem. Have used Acronis for several years and never had a problem but now with my new Alienware laptop Try&Decide doesn't work. Whether my partition is mbr or gpt I have no clue since I am not that computer savvy but one might think that Acronis should provide some more information under Help than the short notice "GPT partitions cannot be protected by Try&Decide" So how does this help a "normal" user who is not into technical terms? Hope someone will read this and provide a solution if there should be one.
