Is "Try" a good choice to prove if a triple boot system will boot to the various OS's?
Hello,
I have a dual boot system now with 3 partitions for XP, Win & and storage.
I'd like to try and format the storage drive for Linux. I know that Linux/Ubuntu comes with the bootloader "Grub." I also understand that Win 7 is booting only because it has written it's boot info into XP. I was able to do a dual boot successfully on another machine, XP & LUBUNTU but that's only 2 systems not 3!
Some people tell me it will be fine to just go ahead and install Linux and Grub will take care of everything. Others say it won't, so I am considering "Try & Decide" to make my changes.
I've used "Try" many times in the past to undo things and it's always worked fine for me, but none of the changes I was monitoring pertained to changing the boot menu and multiple OS's.
So the burning question is: If I start "Try" and make my changes and the system won't boot all 3 OS's or it won't boot at all can I undo it, by selecting "Don't save changes on reboot?"
Would I be able to access the "Try" if the system won't boot, by using the recovery CD?
Thank you all in advance!

Hi Pat,
Thanks that's why I asked the question, I thought it might be a bit sketchy to use it.
