Try&Decide 2009 v9796

Thread needs solution

Hello All,
I have posted this question and did not get a solution to the problem, so i will try again. As this is a "deal breaker" and have reverted back to TI-11 v8101. When you run 2009 Try&Decide you get a new folder i n you "OS" called "Loader data"It is approx 83.5 MB (on my system) and you keep getting the folder updated with another 83.5 MB every time you run the program. If you try to delete any one of the "BIN .Files" your PC won't boot . When you "hover your mouse" over the folder it will say "0 bytes" but if you open the folder you will see lots of "BIN .files" as many as you have started T&D, each at 83.5MB This seems rather counter productive if your just trying out some small new program. Maybe just keep one file (the latest ) would be ok. Anyone have any ideas on what's up with this? Or how you could delete them and still be able to boot your system (without doing a recovery) I can't believe that this is not made known in the instructions at least you would be aware of the system bloat factor.....UGH Regards Fred

Hello Fred,

Please accept our apologies for the delay with the response.

Let me assist you with this situation. As far as I understand, you're starting Acronis True Image Home 2009 and then launching Try&Decide you getting more and more files in Loader data folder, is that correct?

Generally, the product stores all changes in .bin files within this folder, but strange thing is that it should delete .bin file created during Try & Decide session right after you discarded\accepted changes. Also, you should be able to delete them without any difficulties (it should not affect your system). Could you please clarify, when do you delete those files? Have you tried to delete them when Acronis program is not started and Try & Decide is turned off?

Also, what happens with your PC when you trying to boot it after deletion? Please provide me with the exact text of the error message (if any).

Also, could you please clarify your operating system and it's SP? What's the exact model of your motherboard?

Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

We are looking forward to hearing back from you at your earliest convenience.

Thank you.
