Try&Decide and the system try icon

Thread needs solution

When launching the Try & Decide mode the icon never appears in the system tray . I must restarted True Image via desktop icon to choose my choice.

I will do everything possible in order to resolve the issue you experience but first can you please clarify the exact title of the program?

I would recommend you to check whether Try and Decide Service is started. Go to Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Services -> Search for Acronis Try and Decide Service, make sure it is started (right-click -> start), if it is started refresh it (right-click -> refresh).

If you are not using the latest build of the program (help -> about) you may want to update to it.  I am not certain if the issue is addressed in the new build at this point, however it is generally a good idea to be up to date. Go to your account on our web site and check for the latest build.

I am using Windows 7 64-bit Home Preium and Acronis TI 2010 Home, build 7046.

I experience the missing icon in the system tray and the soluytion for me was to run the installation software and select repair. This solve4d my problem, and I am passing it on to hopefully help others.
