Try&Decide with Non Stop Backup

Thread needs solution

How does T&D interacts with NSB? Will it deactivate NSB while I'm trying something? I'd hate to have the NSB storage polluted by something I later decided not to keep.

Hello Marc!

Thank you for finding time to open the thread regarding the question.

If you have Acronis Nonstop Backup running, Try and Decide will be automatically turned off. We a have a mention about it in this KB article, feel free to check it!

Should you need anything else or have any further questions - feel free to contact us at your earliest convenience, we will be happy to help you!

Thank you!

Yana,

The KB article you linked has contradicting information. In one part, it says:

"(!) If you have Acronis Nonstop Backup running, it will be automatically turned off:"

Then later on, it says:

"(!) If you had Acronis Nonstop Backup running before the Try&Decide mode was turned on, the product will resume the Acronis Nonstop Backup protection without notifying."

The second paragraph seems to indicate that NSB can play nice with T&D. So I'm not sure what to trust.
