Trying to run a deleted backup in the normal process.

Thread needs solution

Good day,

I am having an issue with my backups trying to access a file which no longer exists.
The backup task seems to work up till line 16. And the .TIB is created and works fine.

However after line 16 it starts looking for an old task and I don't know why.
I can't see any reference of this in the task files.

I have removed this task from acronis. There is no B drive in the computer any more yet each new task I create has this issue.

Any ideas on how to fix this issue would be great it is doing my head in

Here is the task script. Located in C:\ProgramData\Acronis\TrueImageHome\Scripts

Try this, look in c:\programdata\Acronis\TrueImageHome\Database, delete the archives.xml file, then restart ATI

Nope an even worse result.

Well, I do not see any thong related to the B: drive now. I think you should shutdown your PC (power off) then restart, open True Image and attempt your backup again to see if your issue has been resolved or not.

Your error indicates a consolidation issue. This task cannot be repaired. Your only choice is to begin with a new backup task.

My suggestion is to start a new task and do not use a backup scheme which involves consolidation.
Likewise, my suggestion is to also avoid the consolidation option which allow the user to select that a specific backup be consoldated.

I don't know which type backup scheme you are using but here are 3 examples and hopefully one of those is your type scheme. Adjust the example numbers to fit your storage needs but do choose the option "store X recent version chains."

GH11. Create Custom Full Backup Scheme.Keep 4 versions (chains).Adjust the 4 example.

GH12. Create Custom Incremental Backup Scheme. 6 Inc, Keep 4 chains.Adjust the 6-4 example.

GH13. Create Custom Differential Backup Scheme. 2 Diff, Keep 2 chains. Adjust the 2-2 example.
