Two Acronis True Image status display programs on startup?

Thread needs solution

Just wondering if this is normal or if I can shut one?
One is located in \OnlineBackupStandalone\TrueImageMonitor.exe
and the other at Acronis\TrueImageHome\TrueImageMonitor.exe"

Hello Dave!

Thank you for sharing your concerns with us, I'll gladly address your question.

TrueImageMonitor.exe provides the interface between running Acronis True Image tasks and user. It allows to observe the tasks progress and cancel the running tasks. This process also displays tray notifications about the task status. If you don't need Acronis True Image Home to be started alongside with the system boot-up, feel free to remove it from Start-up.

You can find more information about Acronis True Image Home processes in this KB article.

Should you have any additional questions, please, let us know, we will be glad to help!

Thank you!

Hi,

Sorry, but I have the same question, and your reply does not really answer it. There are TWO entries in Startup, apparently launching the TrueImageMonitor from two different locations (just like Dave has written it above). So, suppose I want TIM running at startup - do I really need both lines, or should I disable one, or does it matter?

Thanks.
