Two versions of TIH on one Machine

Thread needs solution

Is it possible to install Acronis TIH 2013 on a machine that has an older version already installed like
TIH 29010.

I'd like to have both TIH 2010 & TIH 2013 installed on one system before I convert exclusively to
TIH 2013.

I don't want to have to uninstall a working version (2010) to install a new version (2013) and find I
am not happy with it and then have to uninstall 2013 and reinstall 2010.

TIH 2010 has been working perfectly for my needs to Backup and Restore to mechanical hard drives
and SSD's. It also clones mechanicals to SSD's without issues. I've also used TIH 2010 to
Backup a Win 8 SSD but haven't tried to restore it yet.

Since I am 3 levels behind in TIH software I thought I'd look into upgrading to 2013.

Suggestions or thoughts?

Two versions of TrueImage cannot exist and function on the same machine. Choose one or the other.

2013 cannot be installed overtop the 2010 version. You will need to uninstall 2010 before installing 2013. I would even suggest running the 2013 cleanup utility after uninstalling 2010 but before installing 2013.

Do take the time to do a complete disk option backup before uninstalling 2010 so if you have issues with 2013, you will have a current backup which can be restored back into a working system with 2010 installed.

Thanks Grover. Not what I had hoped for. Is it possible to use Try And Decide to do this?

Use the ATI bootable Rescue Media to create a full disk backup (selet entire disk, not just partitions) of your system. Then uninstall 2009 and use the Cleanup Utility. Install 2013 and decide if you like it. If you don't, you can always restore the full disk backup and return to your previous state with 2009 installed.
