UEFI disc backup / restore
Thread needs solution
Just bought a new laptop and thought it would be a good idea to back it up so I booted from the CDROM, went through the motions and it "appeared" to start............. then stopped... no error message, nothing
Looking through this forum it appears that I might not be able to boot from a CDROM to backup / restore ..... is this correct ?
I note that there is a sticky thread suggesting a workaround IF TI is installed on the hard drive but surely this will be of no use if the hard drive has got corrupted or needs replacing ???
