Without more information, it's hard to help you.
So, do a forum search for UEFI, as there are many threads about it.

Sometimes to boot via EUFI you have to hold down the F8 key in most bios boostraps for a boot menu or boot from the Bios itself. If you get a menu like I do on my ASUS you will get a selection of drives to boot from with a number next to it which is for standard bios boot, but sometimes the DVD drive comes up without a number as well. When you see the DVD Drive without the number it is in EUFI mode. Select that and boot from it. Other bioses allow for a setting in bios in Advanced configuration to boot the DVD ROM drive from EUFI by default. Check your Motherboard USer Guide for those details.
