Unable to access Acronis Backup Server Management on a domain controller

Thread needs solution

Hi,

I'm running Acronis True Image Server 9.1 on a Windows 2003. This server acts as :
- domain controller
- Acronis Backup Server
- Acronis Backup Agent.

Using the True Image Management console, I try and modify the Backup Server using "Acronis Backup Server Management". On any menu I choose in this console I'm getting the message :

"E002D0014: You do not have enough permissions to manage Acronis Backup Server. If you want to be able to manage it, add user profile with administrator rights in the Acronis Backup Server."

My guess is that because of the Windows 2003 being a domain controller, I cannot edit or access local user setting and therefore I'm stuck there..

Any help on circumventing this issue is welcome.

Thanx.

See my following thread and give the solution I mention in it a shot since the "not enough permissions" error message sounds similar to what I got when trying to browse the drives on my computer, which has ATI installed, from another network computer. You would need to modify the registry's IRPStackSize value on the server. If the IRPStackSize value is set to its default, try the values I listed. Otherwise, bump the value up in increments of 3.
