Hello Arno!

Welcome to our Forum, we're glad you've joined us! I understand your concern and will do my best to help you.

I regret to inform you, though, that Acronis True Image Home 10 is an outsated product. It's not supported, developed and updated anymore, so there are not many options that we have. Still I think we'll be able to fix the problem.

Most likely it was caused by the glitch in the SnapAPI drivers, so we'll simply update them and check whether the issue persists.

  1. Please install the update from http://download.acronis.com/support/SnapAPI.337_s_e.msi and select the "Disable Logging" option when going through the installation wizard and see whether it fixes the problem.
  2. If the issue still persists after installing the update, please install it once again with the "Enable Logging" option, reproduce the issue and get the log file without closing the error window. The log file will be created on the C:\ partition and have the name in "snapapi[date-time].log" format.

Please keep in mind that this SnapAPI version applies only to Acronis True Image Home 10.

Should the issue persist, please also try reinstalling the product with the latest build:

  1. Remove the current version of Acronis True Image Home 10 from your machine by means of Add/Remove programs
  2. Download the latest build from your account
  3. Install the latest build.

Should you need anything else or have any further questions - feel free to contact us at your earliest convenience, we will be happy to help you!

Thank you!
