Unable to create backup of drive

Thread needs solution

When attempting to create a new full backup archive of My Computer using True Image Home 10.0 (build 4,942), the process fails quickly after selecting Proceed.  I am able to backup and restore single or multiple files but not My Computer.  The backup device is an eSATA connected hard drive.  I have tried this with two different eSATA connected hard drives with the same problem.

This process worked fine up until a couple of weeks ago when I restored my RAID 10 array from a True Image backup after installing larger drives.  For that restore, tech support had to provide me with a new CD image that had additional drivers to see my array as a single disk.

My operating system is Windows XP x64.

The log file and screen capture of the backup window are attached.  I appreciate any help.

Hello David,

Thank you using Acronis Products
I would recommend you update SnapAPI using the following KB artcile and see if the issue persists http://kb.acronis.com/content/1514
If the issue persists try to use another connection to your external drive if possible. I would also recommend you to download free trial version of Acronis True Image Home 2010 and see if the issue persists. Let us know the results.

Problem was a bad hard drive in one of the external enclosures I was using along with unreliable eSATA access from the machine. I have since added an add-on eSATA card and backup is working fine with a good hard drive. Thanks for your help.
