Sorry. Windows XP ATI 2012 build 7119
I set it up to run automatically every night. It does a full backup of the C: drive (to a separate drive D:) then makes seven incremental backups. I set it to keep three cycles.
Looking at the D: drive with W Explorer I see the full b/up,
myfile(3).tib, then
myfile(3)2.tib, (incr)
myfile(3)3.tib and so forth for six versions.
It then reverts back to
myfile.tib (full)
myfile3.tib (Incr)
myfile4.tib (incr) and so forth.
Then
myfile(1).tib
myfile(1)2.tib ...
The above files are in date order. It appears to delete old cycles, but has missed a few and has not run since Wednesday.
Now, the log calendar shows a red X and a green check mark for each day. If I click on the red X in the log listing for Wednesday, I see
Scheduler failed to run task
"Based on 111216" with GUID 'DB142D1C-4E13-4512-B233-05CD1DC09B0A' because of error 2 (Failed to find the file (folder) or the key (value) in the registry.).

There is no information about this error available now. You can use the links below to search for any additional information that might be available.
And the Friday one:
Cause
One of the tasks has gone corrupted.
The tasks are scripts with the *.tis extension located at:
Windows XP: Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Acronis\TrueImageHome\Scripts
Windows Vista, Windows 7: ProgramData\Acronis\TrueImageHome\Scripts
Solution
Currently it is impossible to identify which of the tasks (if you have several) has gone corrupted.
To work around the issue, do the following:
Close Acronis True Image Home 2012;
Delete the task scripts from Windows - i.e. all files from the following folder:
Windows XP: Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Acronis\TrueImageHome\Scripts
Windows Vista, Windows 7: ProgramData\Acronis\TrueImageHome\Scripts
(!) To access these folders you will need to enable viewing hidden files and folders in Windows:
Viewing hidden files and folder in Windows
Start Acronis True Image Home 2012, right-click on each of the tasks and select Recreate backup settings:
IMHO, Acronis could not have made editing the scripts any harder if they had tried.
